The Tax Administration of the Republic of North Macedonia (TARN), in close cooperation with the Ministry of Finance, presented a project that represents an important milestone in the digitalization of the local tax system. <\/p><p data-start=\"351\" data-end=\"389\"><strong data-start=\"351\" data-end=\"387\">Timeline for the introduction of e-invoices<\/strong><\/p><ol data-start=\"391\" data-end=\"550\"><li data-start=\"391\" data-end=\"485\"><p data-start=\"394\" data-end=\"485\">January 2026 \u2013 start of the pilot phase of the project, which will involve selected companies. <\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"487\" data-end=\"550\"><p data-start=\"490\" data-end=\"550\">Quarter 2026 \u2013 e-invoices become mandatory for all taxpayers. <\/p><\/li><\/ol><p data-start=\"552\" data-end=\"721\">Companies will have access to free applications and the possibility of API integration with their own systems, which will enable fast, secure and standardized invoicing.<\/p><p data-start=\"723\" data-end=\"759\"><strong data-start=\"723\" data-end=\"757\">Benefits for companies and the state<\/strong><\/p><p data-start=\"761\" data-end=\"837\">By introducing e-invoices, companies will be relieved of unnecessary administration:<\/p><ul data-start=\"839\" data-end=\"1088\"><li data-start=\"839\" data-end=\"905\"><p data-start=\"841\" data-end=\"905\">abolition of printing, sending and archiving of paper documents,<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"906\" data-end=\"940\"><p data-start=\"908\" data-end=\"940\">greater control over business,<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"941\" data-end=\"993\"><p data-start=\"943\" data-end=\"993\">secure issuing of invoices with digital signatures,<\/p><\/li><li data-start=\"994\" data-end=\"1088\"><p data-start=\"996\" data-end=\"1088\">process automation such as QR code booking and automatic payment orders.<\/p><\/li><\/ul><p data-start=\"1090\" data-end=\"1245\">For the state, the system will bring greater transparency, the ability to cross-check data, and more effective prevention of tax fraud and the shadow economy.<\/p><p data-start=\"1247\" data-end=\"1288\"><strong data-start=\"1247\" data-end=\"1286\">bizBox ready for legal changes<\/strong><\/p><p data-start=\"1290\" data-end=\"1523\">The digitalization of accounting and tax processes has been a worldwide trend in recent years.
